A Little Bit About Me!

Hi! I'm Michelle...the owner of Choubox Scrapbook Design. I live in Northern VA with my wonderful husband, our twin boys and two crazy cats.

I started scrapbooking over five years ago when I made "thank you" scrapbooks for my mother and mother-in-law as gifts for my wedding – my style has been evolving ever since.

A photographer at heart, I'm always trying to come up with new ways to creatively display my pictures, but most of all I love being able to share my ideas with others, so I hope you find this site helpful and that you never hesitate to ask if you have a question.

I'm also a big believer in sketches and their time-saving power. Plus, I find doodling down ideas for layouts to be a tremendous stress reliever. And since I tend to be more comfortable with a mouse in my hand as opposed to a pair of scissors, I've started to investigate the world of digital scrapbooking and I love what I see!!

When I'm not scrapping, I enjoy traveling, genealogy and watching movies and football. I'm also big music fan (I'm loving my new iPod) and as such tend to weave lyrics and/or song titles into my scrapbook layouts.
